TruBond primarily employ cementitious crystalline waterproofing products (such as the Penetron remedial range) or injection of hydrophobic or hydrophilic resin into cracks that are leaking water.
The Penetron system works by creating insoluble crystals within the repair area that block water from escaping, while injection works by blocking the crack with a resin that expands when it collides with water

How do you stop the leaks?
What are the limitations?
It is often assumed that the severity of the leak is what determines whether it can be fixed, but this is incorrect from our experience.
What will determine whether a repair is successful over the long term is quality of the surrounding concrete and hydrostatic pressure relief. If the surrounding concrete is weak or full of voids it will be the first area to leak once the initial leak is stopped. As hydrostatic pressure builds the water will look for the path of least resistance.
The next is relief of hydrostatic pressure. If it is possible to direct the water in a controlled manner while drying up and repairing the problematic areas you will be left with an effective long term solution. This isn’t absolutely necessary, but is often recommended if possible to reduce time, cost and hydrostatic stress on the structure.
